Finding Supplies, Services or Equipment

It may seem that the work of the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) is only to bring in new practices, streamline working practices and reduce overheads and improve production. This is just part of the work carried out by MAS throughout mainland UK. The support offered to manufacturers is wide and varied and includes assistance in researching and sourcing supplies, services and equipment.
The MAS practitioners have a wide knowledge of what is available and their Regional Centres have the facilities to research markets and assist companies with the sometimes thorny problem of finding new sources. MAS can help companies establish secure manufacturing supply chains and stresses that the need for a robust and secure supply chain has became essential. MAS are able to assist manufacturers to seek additional potential suppliers to supplement or replace the existing supplier to ensure continuity of supply.
MAS practitioners are able to work with manufacturers to prepare a project brief and selection criteria to brief interested manufacturing companies not only in their own region but more widely using the National Network.
