Innovation Advice & Guidance (IAG)
The Innovation Advice and Guidance service helps businesses develop a strategy for growth that will help them to become more competitive and more profitable. It does so by helping managers and their teams identify opportunities and establish strategies to exploit innovation and to implement processes that will support continuous innovation within the business.
The Innovation Advise & Guidance service (IAG) consists of an initial fully funded one day review to understand the current Innovation environment within the business and to agree how the business could benefit from support to develop its approach to Innovation.
We provide a wide range of support of which typical areas include:
- Help build Innovation into the ' Business Strategy' and identify support and resources required.
- Establish an innovation culture within the business supported by appropriate internal processes and external networks.
- Support to complete the market analysis required to support the market strategy.
- Product and process development, supporting and involving relevant expertise to incorporate resource efficiency or clean technology development for example.
- Intellectual property protection and development
The service offers an excellent opportunity for all SMEs who have an established core capability and wish to grow or diversify for longer term development. Open to all SMEs but limited in scale, our focus is upon maximising value for business and the region.
The Innovation Advice and Guidance programme is available as a subsidised programme in the same manner as MAS-East but is available to both manufacturing and non manufacturing SMEs.
The Innovation Advice & Guidance service is delivered by a team from PA Consulting, working with partners who have delivered similar support to SMEs in other regions.
